Crochet Bohemian Tote Bag from squares

Sometimes I feel the "granny squares" are not just the combinations of small squares, sometimes with different colors. I know my granny made a lot of lace squares and I have decided to create something like she did - and make a tote bag for my mom.
The shape of  this crochet bag is comfortable, I used 8 squares, but if you would like to have a longer tote bag - add 4 squares more.

Level: Intermediate.

Dimensions: 14”/35 cm width, 12.5”/31 cm height (without handles).

What do you need to crochet this tote bag?

Tools:
size D/3 (3.0-3.25 mm) crochet hook
tapestry needle, scissors

Yarn and materials:

200g of DK Cotton yarn (50g skein = 85m), main color Mocco – for squares (.

50g of DK Cotton yarn, color White – for top part, above the squares.

2 faux leather handles (optional)

Assorted beads (1-2 cm), ΓΈ2.5cm button (optional)
